Hello!
I hope that you are all doing well :o)
There hasn't been much going on around here lately. I have been feeling a little blue so I've been vegging out in front of the tv mostly. The doctor gave me a prescription for migraine headaches that I have to take daily and it makes me really tired all the time. It seems like it is taking my body a long time to adjust. So anyway, I am feeling a little bit better today and decided to take a look around my work room for some inspiration and I found something I thought I would share. I bought these weathering powders about a year ago and I have had a lot of fun with them. They are great for adding a layer of grunge to your mini scenes. They are called Doc O'Brien's Weathering Powders and you can find them at Micromark.com. You get twelve colors, like mildew green, grungy black and rusty brown to name a few. A little bit goes a long way, so these little jars are probably going to last me for all of eternity, LOL! I used them a lot when I was building my Harry Potter shops and it was so much fun! So, if you have a project that needs some ageing and weathering, I can highly recommend these. If you click the link above you can read the instructions as well.
As far as the bears go, I am going to try and get some photos taken of the one I finished last week, that is if the sun ever comes out! It is a bit dreary again today. I also have a little rabbit on my work table that I started before Easter, but I just haven't found the motivation to finish him/her yet. If anyone has some extra energy you could send my way I would really appreciate it, LOL! ;o)
I hope you all have a wonderful day!
Hugs,
*Jeannette
