~ A typical morning~

I mentioned in my last post that I was going to make an effort to post more often here on my blog.  While this post has nothing much to do with bears or even minis, I thought some of you might be interested to see what a typical morning (and afternoon) looks like around here.  :o)

Most of you probably don't know that I homeschool my daughter.  It is a lot of work and takes a very large portion of my time, but it is so worth it to both of us!  I won't go into a lot of detail about our homeschooling here, I am certainly no expert on the subject, but I will say that I don't regret this adventure for one minute.
We do have a dedicated space for homeschool, which also doubles as my studio space, but sometimes we choose to "do school" in other places.  The past few days we have been working at the dining room table.

I love this room!  We get a lot of light coming in through these windows.  It's a happy place to work.

Aren't these flowers beautiful!  My husband brought them home for me last week.  :o)

I hope that you are having a wonderful day!

What's New?

I'm a little late with this post, but I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season!  I hope your new year is off to a great start and you are finding lots of time to do what you love!

I've never been one to make resolutions, but I do have a few things I would like to accomplish this year.   Maybe posting them here for all to see will make me more accountable.  ;o)

~ I have some new designs brewing right now and more ideas than I will probably ever have time for.
~I plan to update the look of my blog.
~ I will try to post more often here on this little blog of mine.  (I know you are all laughing at me right now.)  The thing is, I've never been a very outgoing person and I have a hard time coming up with things to talk about, but I'm going to try.  :o)
~ My very small studio space is going to get a makeover.  I will take some pictures of the progress and post here.  That will probably be in the spring sometime.
~ I am thinking of making a few patterns available, if I can figure out how to do it.
~Lastly, I would really like to improve my photography skills!  Taking pictures is my least favorite thing to do, so this is a big challenge for me.  I would rather do anything else than read through the dreaded users manual for my camera!

So, those are some of my goals on the bear side of things.  What are your goals and resolutions this year?  Do you make resolutions?  Whatever your plans, I wish you the best of luck in all you do!
Happy 2015!

Bear Hugs,
