Bits and Pieces



I thought I would take a quick moment to share what's on my worktable today.  :o)  I'm working on a few new designs that I am really excited about!  They don't look like much now, but hopefully I will have these little ones done by the end of the week.   I will share the results with you all then.

Around the corner

My next online show is right around the corner and I am almost ready.  :o)  I just need to add some finishing touches to a few and spruce up my show page for the big day.  I am always excited and nervous around show time.  It is fun, but there is always that nagging voice in my head wondering if the new bears will grab the heart of someone out there.  It gives me a little thrill to sit by the computer on show day and watch the bears find their forever homes.  It is very humbling as well, to know that you all enjoy my work.  It means that I am able to continue doing what I love so much, and it is hard to put into words how grateful I am for that!

Winter Wonderland

 The snow really hit us hard today!  It has been snowing since last night and it is supposed to keep snowing through tomorrow.  The weather man is saying 12"-16", possibly more.  And wow is it cold out there! 

So I snapped a couple of pictures through my living room window just so I could show you.  It is beautiful that's for sure.  (as long as I don't have to go out in it, lol)

 

I took this first picture of my yard at about 10:30 this morning.  The second picture was taken at about 3:30.  Just for reference, the hedges there are about 6 feet tall.  I hope we aren't buried come tomorrow.

Does anybody have some sunshine they can send my way?  ;o)

 



 

On the bright side, this is the perfect weather for staying in and working on bears.  I've made some progress on my show bears for the next online show.
