Inspired By The Past

As I mentioned the other day, I have been working on a little vintage style bear. I have her all finished this morning and I would love to share her with you!

Her name is Laura, in memory of my grandma. She reminds me of a bear that I would have found stashed in some dark corner of her attic, if she had ever let me go up there. I remember asking her again and again if I could see what was up there, but no such luck. "That dirty old attic is no place for a little girl" is what she always said with a smile. To this day I still wonder what she had up there so I sometimes daydream and imagine what I would have found. I think this little bear would have been right at home among some old dusty treasures, don't you?

UPDATE: Laura has been adopted!

Laura is available on Bear Pile if you would like to take a look at her.
I better get back to work now. I can't wait to get started on my next little critter!

Hugs,
*Jeannette

  1. She's lovely, hope she finds a new home soon with people that won't leave her in an attic
